World Pop Justified Review
Justin Timberlake is set to take the urban music world by storm with his debut solo albumJustified, Worldpop were treated to an exclusive preview of the album last night. The album is a far cry from the pop style of *N Sync Including 6 tracks from the Neptunes, and five from Timberland, Justified is a strong album, that showcases Justin's superb singing and song writting skills..
The first track Senoria is a pure club record, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Like I Love You comes next and is one of the standout tracks on Justified. The Timbaland produced Cry Me A River is an epic production, which sounds very much like old Aaliyah ,material. This incredible track has pure single potential and is sure to suprise those who have pre- conceived ideas about JT.
Rock Your Body has a cool disco sound and is sure to pack out the dance floor, here we see Justin showing off his famous beat-boxing skills[ previously showcased in *N Sync's Pop]. The P Diddy produced , Love Don't Love Me is reminiscent of Usher as Justin uses his incrediblie vocal talent to ensure listeners are nodding their heads. [And She Said] Take Me Now is one of the best racks on the album. Featuring Janet Jackson singing the chorus. Justin sings in his now famous high style, leaving Timbalandto take care of the heavy beat. Featuring almost two minutes of pure beats, this record offers the perfect opportunity for a dance -break that we know Justin can pull off. Other tracks such as Take It From Here and [Oh No] What You Got, are strong, up- tempo numbers which may not be the best on the set, but are good quality tunes nevertheless.
Justified is a slickly produced album, full of good quality R&B/ hip-hop records. Justin is set to surprise critics, as his obvious singing/song writting abilities cannot be questioned.Like I Love You is released on the 21st of October while Justified is due out on the 4th of November!
Note: the 4th is for U.K. Fans not Americian!
